我們從網路上找到當初拍賣的頁面，網頁上的敘述文字與這封謠言差不多，因此應該是直接從英文翻譯過來，該項拍賣於2003年3月28日張貼，2003年4月3日結標，由網友jaimerossmeiXXX得標，但是從賣方guyveXXX於月日留下「No response to emails! Probably scared or CURSED by haunted doll! Deadbeat!」（沒有回應！可能被娃娃詛咒瞭！）留言來看，該場交易並沒有成功。

I have actually sold the doll, but the spirit of the doll seems to live on in my life...
I purchased the doll a few years ago at a small dirt lot flea market in the town of Webster, Florida.I have collected old dolls and antique toys for a number of years, and there was something about this doll that drew me to it.
Obviously if I knew about the history of the doll before I bought it, I would have never bought it. I wasn't able to mention this in the auction but the doll was originally bought for a man's child who was severely deformed at birth. The child died only a few days after being
alive. Some people said that the child might have even been murdered because it was so grotesque.
All of the bizarre occurrences did infact happen to me, including my cat dying, my girlfriend leaving me, unexplainable sickness...
I set up a video camera to record the doll one night. In the morning what I saw was shocking. Not only did I see the dolls arm moved, I heard a voice what could only be discerned as ?Harold? Supposedly the child's name that the doll was supposed to belong to was named Harold!
The original buyer did not follow through with the auction. I actually listed the doll a second time and was bough from very nice women in Ireland. She supposedly had some very bad things happen to her after

Sometimes at night the image of the doll comes in my mind, and I experience some very mad migraines. Recently it has been ok, I have been talking to the priest at a local church and he has been giving me prayers to say before I go to bed.
